This table was originally a metal desk. A friend gave it to me and I had no clue what I was going to do with it. At the time making furniture or projects was all the rage. I decided to sand the metal down and shoot it matte black.
The top was made out of a couple of pallets that had similar size boards on the top. I broke all of those down and cut them each to the same length. This was so they would cover the same amount all the way down the table. I counter-sunk sheet metal screws so that you could not feel them. After I polyurethaned the wood to give it a smooth finish.
